Day Before Tomorrow!

Hi Family!!

Becky wanted me to tell you that she accidentally forgot to take a picture of my lovely face today, so it's only going to be my words, uhhhh...barks/woofs.

I'm so excited to see you tomorrow evening!

So there was this funny thing that happened to me today.  The weather today was so beautiful and Becky had the patio deck door open with the screen closed to let in some fresh air.  I heard something outside and thought the door was open and ran straight into the screen door!!  I'm so used to it being winter, I forgot about that one important door...lesson learned.  After that little incident I have checked for the screen door each time I've gone outside.  I'm such a clever dog!

What a Day

Here I am family.  At the end of my day....

This is after I played with AJ for approximately a million hours with all my toys.  AJ thought he could take a break, but I wasn't done playing.  So I picked up my favorite toy and actually put it in AJ's hand (that's when Becky and AJ cracked up laughing.).  And then AJ played with me a million more hours, I had a rawhide, and decided that I could finally fall asleep for the evening!  My life is SO busy...

Miss you family!  I am doing great here with Becky and AJ.  We are having so much fun together!

What's for Dinner?

What's that you have for dinner?  Pizza?  I love pizza...

How can you resist this face??  What's that?  You CAN resist this face??  Hmmmph.

That's alright...I'm very patient!

Besides Becky being super mean to me by not giving me any pizza, life has been great!  Becky has been a bit obsessed about long walks lately...I hope my legs don't fall off!  

Here's some great news...practically all the snow is gone from the yard today!  It must have been all my hard work from last night.  We're just getting ready for you to return so you're not so shell shocked.

Think Spring!

After that last post, I spent the day thinking about how I could do my part to encourage spring to come quickly.

To celebrate your birthday Oma (a day late) I've done the following:

1) played with all my toys!

2) wrestled and played hide and seek with AJ!

3) chased my laser all over the yard! 

4) took some really great walks!

5) barked at passersby!

Hope you're enjoying your time away...it is still COLD here.   I'm ready for spring!  I should do something about that...hmmmmm....

Low Key Day

Hello Family!

Just wanted to update you on my day here.  We've been enjoying a nice, low key day.  AJ works today, so it's just me and Becky.  Don't tell her, but I'm secretly excited for AJ to come back home because he likes to wrestle around and play with me on the ground.  Our walks have been nice, nothing out of the ordinary, but very nice.  We are hoping to go to Quarry Hill tomorrow, this time with AJ!

One thing that has occupied my time today has been watching the neighbor take down and work on the ice rink. The last time that Becky was here, we were watching it go up!  Just crazy how time flies...pretty soon it will be Christmas!!

 I hope you're having a great time in Germany.  Say hi to all my relatives.  I bet you are having a great time...eating delicious German food all the live long day.  Don't worry about me...I'll just eat my dog food...no really...I'm fine...

Ok, I just wanted to say hi!  I'm going to go keep Becky company while she bakes cookies.

3 is Company, 5 is a Party!

Phew!  What a night.  My good, good friends Neil and Janet came over tonight and brought El Carambas with them!  Lucky for them, I was still stuck with dog chow.  (However, Neil and Janet snuck me treats from my jar!)  I was the happiest dog in the world with all the extra cuddles and love that I got.  When they they got distracted and forgot about me for a second, I made sure to ring my bell so they remember who is the REAL center of attention.

Remember when I said I hoped Janet would give me a cuddle?

Also, its very important for you to know that Janet stole a blue raspberry rock candy from the pantry.  Usually it's me getting in trouble for stealing food, so it's awfully nice to pass the blame for once.

We had such a fun night.  I even had a chance to model my new pack for Neil and Janet.  They told me I was very important and that I looked so nice....I think I even believed them...at least I was wagging my tail.  Progress!

It's a Dog's Life

After a long walk late this afternoon, I can't even be tempted to play fetch!  I'm so pumped that the weather here is nice enough to go outside...just means more romping outside for me!

Rumor has it my good friends Neil and Janet might be coming over for a visit tonight.  I can't wait!!  Maybe if I'm lucky, Janet will cuddle me on her lap like I likes so much.

Hi Family!

I wanted to be able to keep you updated on what I am up to while you are away in Germany and I'm here at home!  First of all, I seem to remember AJ and Becky a LOT better than last time!  I'm so happy to see them every time they come through the door.

Yesterday, we went for a walk at Quarry Hill.  It was still a bit snowy and slippery out but it it was great to have so many great things to sniff.  Twigs, Bark, the Pavement, a tree stump, you name it!  I even saw other dogs but I completely behaved myself on my leash.  There was one scary moment with a dog off his leash that came running over to me, but turns out he (or she!) just wanted to say hi.

We stopped at AJ's work to drop something off and the moment he came out the door, I recognized him right away!  I wagged my tail, actually my whole body...I was really excited to see him.

Today has been nice because both Becky and AJ have been at home.  Becky made some bread and I've been really great just sitting and watching her. AJ and I played hide and seek this morning and I'm pretty sure I outsmarted him!

I had an unexpected royal lunch today.  I was pretty sneaky and when Becky looked away I nabbed her turkey wrap.  I pretty much knew I was not supposed to do that, and I had the guiltiest look on my face.  Becky just called me a little stinker and I didn't even get in trouble.

Right now AJ is playing with me and the laser.  Man I just love that thing!  Becky told me that we would go to Quarry Hill again today.  Woohoo!
